Feb 22, 2019

If you’re planning a family vacation to the Poconos, there are so many fun activities for kids to choose from while you’re here. We’ve put together some of our favorite activities to make the most of your time as you reconnect with what matters most.

TreeTop Adventure Course (Year Round)

Why not take in the views from the tops of the trees? Zip and fly between trees, balance as you walk over bridges, and be one with nature.

Archery Tag® (Spring, Summer & Fall)

Best described as “dodgeball with bows and arrows,” this exciting, action-packed game offers the ultimate experience that’s fun for the whole family.

Fishing (Spring, Summer & Fall)

Cast away in a private trout stream full of freshly-stocked trout. Or post up at the lake for some largemouth bass, perch, pickerel, and more. Ice fishing is available in the winter months.

Indoor Swimming (Year Round)

Kids can swim year-round at the indoor pool at Skytop Lodge. Or choose to swim in the outdoor pool or at the lake beach.

Snow Tubing (Winter)

For children over four years old, recreate magical memories as you sled on a private snow tubing hill.

Biking (Spring, Summer & Fall)

Cruiser bikes are available to rent and explore miles of trails. Skytop Lodge offers Burleys for children who aren’t ready for a 2-wheeler just yet.

Jogging (Spring, Summer & Fall)

Got a little one with you? Rent a single or double baby jogger at Skytop Lodge for a walk or jog around the grounds.

Boating (Spring, Summer & Fall)

Take in the scenery as you look out across the lake. Choose to kayak, canoe, or rowboat around the lake.

Lawn Activities (Spring, Summer & Fall)

Whether it’s our annual Easter egg hunt or a beautiful sunny day for some lawn bowling, the outdoor lawn area at Skytop Lodge offers the perfect activity area for kids.

What do all of these activities have in common? They’re all offered at Skytop Lodge! Ready to book a fun family vacation? Check out all that Skytop has to offer, including packages and upcoming seasonal activities.
