Busy moms often spend a lot of time taking care of others and not as much time caring for themselves. Mom can start Mother’s Day weekend with some self-care by joining us for yoga at 9:00 AM on both Saturday and Sunday. After yoga, she can relax with one of our signature services at Skyview Spa. From facials to massages to pedicures, we offer luxurious treatments to rejuvenate Mom from head to toe.
Our special Kids Cooking in the Cloud event on May 7th gives children a chance to show Mom how much they appreciate her. Kids will decorate their own aprons, menus, and chef hats before making centerpieces, learning dining etiquette, and (together with our expert Culinary Team) making a delicious dinner certain to impress. This delectable culinary experience is appropriate for children 6-14 years old.
“Paint and Sip” classes have become quite popular recently. At Skytop Lodge, we worked with local Poconos artist Mark Schribe to create a special wine painting class with a distinctive twist: at this event, Mom will literally paint with wine! Mark’s step-by-step instructions will guide all attendees through the process of creating their own, one-of-a-kind painting, using actual fine wine to paint. In addition to the use of painting supplies, attendees receive a glass of wine to drink, a souvenir glass, and cocktail service.
Mother’s Day Brunch is a perennial favorite at Skytop Lodge. The stunningly prepared brunch includes breakfast favorites that look as amazing as they taste. Prepare a Bloody Mary just the way Mom likes it at our fabulous Bloody Mary bar, then sit back and enjoy the fantastic live entertainment. Brunch will be served on Mother’s Day, May 8th from 11:00 AM until 2:30 PM in the magnificent Windsor Dining Room.
