Nature looks different from atop a horse. Our West Rim Trail provides an unparalleled view of the 5,500 acres of the Skytop estate. Along the picturesque trail, you will see the stunning natural beauty of the Poconos Mountains up close and personal. In the spring, you can expect to see recently bloomed wildflowers, hear the songs of birds welcoming back the warmer weather, and maybe even catch a glimpse of native wildlife. The West Rim Trail provides a perfect backdrop for a romantic proposal or a unique excursion with family to create lifelong memories.
Our well-trained, well-tempered horses will provide an enjoyable ride for riders of any experience level. We also provide an experienced, professional guide who will offer assistance throughout the ride, as well as answer any questions that may arise. Each session is kept to a maximum of 7 people to allow personal attention from the guide and provide for a small, intimate experience. All participants on a West Rim Trail ride must be at least 7 years old. For younger equestrians, we offer 20 minute Pony Rides around the Skytop Stables.
