Fall Fun in the Poconos: Attend These Pumpkin Festivals and More

The fall season is a fun time to be in the Poconos. Leaves are changing colors, pumpkins are being picked, and many cups of hot apple cider are being served. Everything you love about fall is right here in the Poconos.  

If you’re planning a stay at Skytop Lodge this fall, we’ll be hosting our 13th annual Harvest Lake Stroll. Walk around the private lake as you sample food and wine from national and local vineyards.   • Harvest Festival at Pocono Environmental Education Center

 

40-minute drive from Skytop Lodge

 

On Saturday, October 6, PEEC will host a family-friendly day of crafts, exhibits, food, music, and fall activities. Plus, you can witness the changing scenery before your eyes as you drive through the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Tickets are $5 per car.

 

  • Pumpkin Fest at Memorytown

 

20-minute drive from Skytop Lodge

 

Take a hay ride and play fun games at the Memorytown Pumpkin Fest Celebration on October 10 and 11 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Kids can pick out a pumpkin, get their face painted, pet a pony, and so much more! Admission and parking are free, but food, drinks, and games are offered at an additional cost.

 

  • Mazezilla Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch at Klingel’s Farm

 

45-minute drive from Skytop Lodge  

 

Known for its fun, yet spooky corn maze, Klingel’s Farm is all about fall fun. The 11-acre maze is different every year, and there are “corn helpers” nearby if you need help navigating through. Plus, head to the pumpkin patch or produce stand to do some picking. The fun starts September 15 and lasts through early November. Check the website for schedules and pricing.

 

  • The Great Pocono Pumpkin Festival

 

1-hour drive from Skytop Lodge

 

The Great Pocono Pumpkin Festival is open daily beginning in late September through October. Fall-themed games, pumpkin-picking, and delicious food are just some of the things you can enjoy. The $10 funband includes a hay ride, corn maze access, haunted house, and more. Check the website for additional fees.
