Thanksgiving is the unofficial start of the holiday season, so you should kick it off right by spending your long weekend at Skytop Lodge. We have created a family-friendly Thanksgiving experience that allows you to enjoy the natural beauty of the Poconos without sacrificing that delicious turkey dinner that is an absolute necessity.
These are a few of the things that we have planned for Thanksgiving 2021:
Both Windsor and Lakeview will be open throughout Thanksgiving weekend. Windsor will be offering a buffet-style Thanksgiving dinner with all of the traditional fixings. Lakeview will have a variety of Thanksgiving specials on its menu, allowing you to find the meal that sounds best to you. These meals are popular, so we do recommend that guests make reservations in advance in order to guarantee seating over the holiday weekend.
Over Thanksgiving weekend, the team at Skytop Lodge will quickly be ushering in the holiday season by installing a life-sized gingerbread house in our lobby. We anticipate that this magnificent structure is going to bring the magic of the holidays to life, not only for our youngest visitors who have visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads, but also for our guests who are young at heart. The gingerbread house will be on display throughout all of December.
We know that you don’t want to just trudge your way through December with your family, trying to check off boxes and make the holiday season as merry and bright as possible. To avoid making the holidays a chore this year, book a stay at Skytop Lodge and add the “I Wish to Have a Christmas Tree” package to your stay. Every Sunday in December we are hosting a Breakfast with Santa event, which is the perfect chance for families to have some one-on-one time with Santa and share their lists with him.
