Located on West Mountain, our distinct slopes feature beautiful panoramic views of the Pocono Mountains and wide trails cut through serene Pennsylvania forest.
Because Skytop Lodge prides itself with its natural environment, all winter activities are weather-dependent. Ski and snowboard rentals are available and lessons are offered to participants of most ages and skill levels.
Skytop Lodge’s Ski Hill is located on the opposite side of Skytop Lake at the intersection of Dutch Hill Road and Route 390. It is a short ride by car or shuttle or approximately a scenic, 15 minute walk on our Lake Trail.
Ski School
Skytop Lodge offers the perfect setting for new skiers and snowboarders without the crowds! Starting from age four for skiing and seven for snowboarding, Skytop Lodge’s Ski School gives personalized attention to each participant. 50 minutes with one of our experienced instructors, in a small group, is an ideal way to learn the ski techniques you will need to ski or ride any mountain.
We offer personalized classes for all ages, from children as young as four through adolescent and adult lessons.
Snowboarding School
For those wishing to learn snowboarding, Skytop offers Snowboarding School for ages seven and up. Beginner riders will find our Burton Snowboard Rental System perfect for learning the ropes of this great sport!
Lessons:
Lessons are offered seven days a week, are 50 minutes in length and run from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm.
- Level I – Beginner
- Level II – Advanced Beginner
- Level II – Intermediate
- Group – $40 per person
- Semi-Private – $65 per person
- Private – $85 per person
Ski & Snowboard Rental
When renting our equipment, you will be confident that you have been properly fitted for a comfortable and safe day out on the slopes.
Rates: $30 per day for ski or snowboard equipment and includes a complimentary helmet. Rentals are $40 for non-resort guests.
Our skis have shaped heads, making them the best option for any skier from beginner to advanced. Snowboarding rentals by Burton Boarding, the most trusted brand in snowboard equipment.
