Date: September 13, 2019 – September 14, 2019
Location: Skytop Lodge
Celebrate National Bourbon Heritage Month at Skytop Lodge! Did you know that by law, bourbon must be aged in new oak, and the most common type of tree harvested for North American cooperages is the white oak tree. Each tree takes over 70 years to reach maturity and can yield between one and three barrels. Join us as we do our part, along with our partners at Angel’s Envy, as we help sustain the future of bourbon for generations to come.
“Each year, we’re inspired by all of the partners who help make Toast the Trees a success by hosting events, featuring cocktails and promoting specials for Angel’s Envy throughout the month of September. Working together, we can all help ensure that bourbon will remain a key ingredient of our National Heritage.” – Angel’s Envy
