Precautionary Response Measures to COVID-19*

Here at Skytop Lodge, the safety and wellbeing of our guests and employees is of the utmost importance. As such, we have been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation as it unfolds across the globe and here in the United States, and are taking the necessary steps to bring peace of mind to everyone who walks through our doors. As we welcome our valued guests back, we will be implementing the following protocols:

 Protecting Our Guests and What To Expect

  • We are now servicing guestrooms in the Lodge, Inn and Cottages on a daily basis.  Should you not request service or feel uncomfortable with our staff entering your room,  we will kindly respect when we see your Do Not Disturb sign.  Please call the Front Desk with any special requests for trash removal or additional towels/amenities.
  • Additional hand sanitizing stations are available in public areas.
  • All guests are required to practice social distancing in public areas.

 Cleanliness

  • We will be taking additional efforts to deep clean guestrooms, public spaces and high-touch areas using hospital-grade chemicals that adhere to CDC and EPA guidelines.

 Dining Protocols

  • Indoor dining is available, operating at 100% capacity.
  • Reservations for breakfast and dinner are highly suggested.
  • Skytop Lodge has a “No Outside Food or Beverage” policy.
  • All Food & Beverage Managers and Chefs are ServSafe certified.
  • Employees will practice social distancing in both the front and back of house, using designated workstations to minimize contact.

 Activity Protocols

  • Hiking trails are available to Resort guests and Homeowners only. Wristbands provided at check-in, will be mandatory on all hiking trails, as well as “resort guest only” activities such as the indoor/outdoor swimming pools and swimming lake.  Guests not wearing their wristbands may be turned away.
  • Reservations are highly suggested in advance for activities.
  • Skytop Lodge will create virtual activities and take away crafts when possible.

 Flexible Booking/Cancellation Policies

  • Reservations have a seven (7) day cancelation policy.
    • All holidays in 2021 will have a ten (10) day cancelation policy, versus the original 30 days.
  • Your options include:
    • Cancel prior to cancellation period to receive a full refund.
    • Keep your deposit on file for a future reservation, which must be made within one year of your original arrival date.
    • Move your reservation to a new date and a $75 change fee will apply.
    • If you choose to cancel in full and you are within the cancellation period, your deposit will be forfeited.
