It may still be fall, but Poconos ski resorts are already starting to get ready for ski season. This winter, come join us atop the Poconos Mountains at Skytop Lodge. Enjoy awe-inspiring views of the Poconos as you explore the downhill and cross-country ski trails on the 5,500-acre Skytop estate.
Slopes at Skytop
Experience the breathtaking beauty of the Poconos as you ski the gentle, pristine slopes of Skytop Lodge’s Ski Hill. All four of our distinct downhill slopes are on West Mountain, a 15-minute walk or short ride from Skytop Lodge. With a peak of nearly 300 feet, our slopes are suitable for novices, as well as experienced skiers and snowboarders. We are committed to the stunning natural environment of the entire Skytop estate, including our slopes. As a result, all winter sports depend on weather conditions.
Ski and Snowboarding School
At Skytop, we believe skiing and snowboarding are family sports. Our Skytop ski and snowboard schools offer lessons for children, youth, and adults new to winter sports. We offer ski lessons for kids as young as four-years-old and snowboarding instruction beginning at seven-years-old. Our professional instructors provide personalized lessons in small groups. In 50 minutes, students learn snowboard or ski techniques necessary to take on any mountain. Private lessons are also available.
No Gear? No Problem
Didn’t bring any gear with you? We have all the high-quality ski and snowboarding equipment you will need for a day on the slopes at Skytop. Our rental equipment includes skis with shaped heads and Burton snowboard equipment. You will also receive a complimentary helmet with each rental.
