Skytop is proud to announce the latest addition to The Adventure Center at Skytop, our brand new Tree Top Adventure course! This elevated obstacle course is set in the beautiful Pocono Mountains on Skytop's 5,500 acre estate. The course is securely suspended between trees at 10 to 50 feet off the ground. Some of the features of our course include giant Tyrolean Zip Lines, suspended bridges, swings, slides, nets, and even an aerial surf board!

Take a journey at The Adventure Center at Skytop and explore the outdoors like you never have before!

Participants must be able to reach to 5'11" while standing flat-footed and have a waist less than 41 inches. Participants must be at least 10 years old. 16 and 17 years olds may go on the course without a parent, but still need the waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Children under 16 MUST have an adult with them participating on the course. An adult may accompany up to 3 children under 16

Learn the basics of kayaking on Skytop Lake, including safety, boat design, basic strokes, turning, bracing and the art of the wet exit.

Explore the majestic waters of Skytop Lake. We offer all the basic instruction you need to paddle with pride.

Shift gears and learn how to conquer an array of challenges, including rock gardens, bridges, drops and banked turns, using our new Trek mountain bikes or your own.

Discover the delights of Geocaching in one of our small classes, then find your way to one of Skytop’s caches using our state-of-the-art GPS units.

Learn about edible plants and wilderness danger, as well as how to use a map and compass, build fires and make emergency shelters.

Featuring a variety of terrain, included wooded areas and Poconos hiking trails, our fields are the perfect place to fire up your conquering spirit. Equipment and training available.

Skytop's Rafting Package features a day of pure outdoor fun and excitement on the nearby Lehigh River Gorge. Your exclusive 4 to 5 hour rafting adventure includes dozens of fun-filled rapids, fabulous wilderness scenery, a scrumptious on-river Skytop box lunch, and the personal attention of your very own river guide in your raft.

You'll laugh. You'll scream. And you'll soak yourself silly on this awesome whitewater rafting trip.....made even better by a special whitewater dam release! That means extra water, bigger rapids, and more fun than ever! There are lots of Class II and Class III rapids, which means plenty of action for the experienced rafters and great fun for the first-timers too! Kids as young as 9 can join the fun.

You'll also enjoy guided side hikes to pristine waterfalls; explore 19th century river locks; and get an up-close and personal tour of the river and its surroundings from your Skytop guides. This is one of our most popular adventure packages and a "must-do" if you are visiting the Poconos!

Our private trout stream abounds with freshly stocked trout and our lakes provide excellent opportunities for all types of fishing including bass and rainbow trout. Skytop's superior guides will offer private guiding and instruction along with the fly fishing schools for anglers of all abilities. Schools have been scheduled from March through October.

A covered 5 stand, compact sporting clays range to accommodate beginners through experienced shooters is available in all kinds of weather. Our 15 station sporting clays course offers an exciting challenge for the experienced shooter.

Late June - August 31st:
(Kids, ages 3-12) Morning and afternoon camps are designed for kids aged 3-12. Daily camp activities include, nature walks, swimming, arts & crafts, face painting, golf & tennis lessons, fishing, scavenger hunts, soccer, hayrides and other activities.

Play a game of tennis on Skytop's impeccably maintained courts that have been newly surfaced and renovated. We have five Har-Tru courts, one all-weather court and two night-lighted paddle tennis courts. Our tennis pro offers expert aid to players of all ages and all levels of expertise. There are weekend round robins, June through September to test your skill. Equipment and attire is available.

Come see the fun and exciting way we keep our dog sledding teams happy and fit during the warmer times of the year. Dry Land Dog Scooters are a great way to feel the incredible power of our sled dogs! Dry Land Dog Scooters is quickly becoming a favorite among Skytop's guests. People of all ages are welcome to join us on our large training cart while those 16 and older can navigate their very own dog-powered scooter!

During the warmer months we are still offering our popular kennel tours. Stop by and meet all of our 25 loveable Siberian Huskies. Snow Caps Sled Dogs is one of the few kennels in the lower 48 states that offers year-round opportunities to experience this time-less art of travel. We look forward to welcoming you!

Our sled dogs are well trained athletes and we need to keep them ready to run all year long. Come join us on one of our training runs.
