Skiing, Downhill or Cross-country

Ski downhill or snowboard with your family on four wide, crowd-free, gentle slopes with a vertical drop of 295 feet. If you’re feeling adventurous go cross-country on trails from Indian Ladder Falls to Goose Pond to back-country routes.

All winter sports are conditions permitting.

Dog sledding has returned to Skytop Lodge! A favorite winter activity of guests back in the 1930’s and 1940’s returns in 2010!
Skytop Lodge is proud to announce the addition of dog sledding to our full array of winter sports. Now, in addition to downhill and cross-country skiing, ice skating, snow-shoeing, sledding and tobogganing you can mush your own team of dogs through the breathtaking winter landscape of the Skytop estate.

Join one of our teams of loveable sled dogs for the thrill of a lifetime!

All winter sports are conditions permitting.

Ice Skating

Strap on a pair of blades and polish your ice skating skills at our outdoor, weather-protected rink. Fun for the entire family!

All winter sports are conditions permitting.

Snowshoeing

Set-off on a winter exploration in a pair of light weight, easy to use snowshoes, including ones shaped like dinosaur feet for the little ones! Trails and adventures abound at Skytop Lodge.

Sledding/Tobogganing

Feel the need for speed? Take your kids sledding or tobogganing on one of the last remaining runs in the area, at Skytop Lodge.

And you can still enjoy a myriad assortment of year-round Skytop favorites, from our indoor swimming pool to our indoor mini-golf course. And stargazing is still a brilliant diversion, along with the art of lounging by a crackling fire.
