9:30 a.m.  Guided Mountain Bike Ride to Indian Ladder Falls. Sign up in advance at the Activities Desk (x 533) and then meet there 15 minutes before the start of the ride. Once your paperwork is completed, you and the guide will proceed from the Activities Desk to the Pavilion to get bikes and helmets; the ride departs from the pavilion.

  • Cost is $13/person
  • Ride is about 4 miles of level terrain and takes approximately 1 hour
  • We take a maximum of 11 riders
  • MINIMUM AGE is 8 years old and ALL riders must be able to keep up with the group.
  • Anyone under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult (anyone under 18 needs a parent to sign paperwork)
  • We require a one-hour cancellation notice to make this ride available to all our guests

11:00 a.m. Mini Golf Tournament. Do you enjoy mini golf? Join the fun at our tournament. Shot gun start with a 5 stroke maximum. Fun for all ages. Meet at the Activities Desk.

1:30 p.m. Leavitt Falls Fitness Hike. Experience a beautiful waterfall, hemlocks and fresh air! Please Note: This hike is physically demanding as we cover a 100 ft. change in elevation over rocky terrain. Make sure this hike is for you and you can keep up with the group while hiking down into the gorge at a fitness pace. This is a short, yet rugged walk; allow 1 hour, meet at the Activities Desk.

3:00 p.m. Pictionary. Need a break from all the outdoor fun? Come join us and play a game of Pictionary. Can you draw and not talk? Stick figure artists are encouraged to join in the action. Meet at the Activities Desk.

4:00 p.m. Bubble Blowing Bonanza. For ages 3-103. Come and remember those care free days of your childhood or create new memories with your children. Bubbles of all sizes. Meet at the Activities Desk.

9:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m. Pine Room Entertainment by Northern Lights, a lively duo with a unique and engaging presentation that will leave you wanting more!

Skytop has three beautiful waterfalls, clear your mind of any cares & worries and explore the great outdoors. Stop by the Skate Shop for a trail map, binoculars or backpack!

9:30 a.m. Bullseye Archery Contest. Test your skills at archery. Aim for the bullseye to gain the most points. Players must be at least 7 years old. Come out and join the fun. Meet at the Activities Desk.

10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Paintball Shooting Gallery&. Improve your paintball shooting skills or try it for the first time at our new 4 person shooting gallery. Targets will include a full size mannequin, bullseyes and targets that move when hit.  It’s great fun for the whole family, no age restrictions, 50 paintballs for $8.00, 100 paintballs for $15.00. 10:30 a.m. Join us as we hike the Pine Trail. Come along on this short and relatively flat trail to see what is blooming and what is buzzing. Meet at the Activities Desk. Allow one hour.

1:00 p.m. Macramé Jewelry Making. Sign up in advance at the Activities Desk (533). Learn how to create hemp jewelry by using the macramé knot. Make it decorative with various colors of assorted beads. Already know how to macrameé Come learn some more intricate knots to work with. For ages 8 – adult, there is a $3/person charge, which is charged to the room. Meet George in the Laurel Lounge. Maximum of 20 participants.

2:30 p.m. 9 Hole Putting Green Contest. Join us to test your skill in this fun outdoor activity. Shot gun start with a 5-stroke maximum. Fun for all ages. Bring your own putter or use one of ours. Meet at the activities desk.

4:00 p.m. Lawn Bowling Clinic. Did you ever hear of “bowling on the green” but never knew what it meant? This is your chance to learn the fundamentals of the sport of lawn bowling; for ages 10 & up. Flat-soled shoes are required and there is a $5 greens fee per person. Meet at the Activities Desk.

Horseback Riding Enthusiasts enjoy a one-hour walk-trot trail ride through woods and creek at the “Mountain Creek Riding Stable” located 8 miles from Skytop. You can get directions and discount vouchers near the Activities Desk. Rides are open to ages 7 to adult: $23.00 per person.

11:15 a.m. Springtime Stroll. Enjoy a leisurely walk on one of Skytop’s many trails. The pace will be easy to allow you to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings along the way. Come hear the birds sing, watch the wind sway the tree tops and enjoy the crisp spring air. Don’t forget your camera & meet at the Activities Desk.

This 30 minute class will teach you simple exercises that you can do at home that will have your arms looking their best just in time to break out the summer clothes. Class will be outdoors, weather permitting (Weather Back-Up Location: Mountain Lake Room). Meet at the Activities Desk.

1:30 p.m. Origami. Learn this thousand year old traditional Japanese art of paper folding! Learn how to make a three-dimensional figure from one sheet of paper. Origami is enjoyment in itself. Sign up at the Activities Desk (ext.533) for this fun one hour class for ages 6 and older. Maximum of 15 participants.

6:30 p.m. Relax & Reflex. Relax your muscles and refresh your body with massage and reflexology. Learn simple massage and stretching techniques to relieve those tense and tired muscles. Wear loose and comfortable clothes. Allow 40 minutes. Meet in the Club Room.

8:30 p.m. Night Hike with Jackie. Use our PETZEL headlamps to explore “the things that go bump in the night. Sign up at the Activities Desk ext. 533 and meet Jackie on the North Porch.

9:00-11:00 p.m. Tap Room entertainment by the Northern Lights Duo. Enjoy a relaxing evening of cocktails and conversation as this dynamic duo “struts their stuff” for your entertainment.

9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Morning Paintball Session. Come play paintball on our new paintball fields. You will play a combination of games both in and out of the woods. Equipment is available for rent at the Adventure Center. Basic package includes admission to the field during one session, goggles and facemask, marker, CO2 refills and referees. Paint is not included. $25.00. The deluxe package includes admission to the field during one session, goggles and facemask, marker, CO2 refills, 500 paintballs and referees $60.00. You may use your own equipment as long as it meets Skytop’s safety standards. We do not permit outside paint, all paintballs must be purchased at the Adventure Center. If you have your own marker, a field use fee of $10 includes admission to field during one session, referees and CO2 refills. 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. There may still be some openings in the Two-Day Brian Boyle School of Golf - (Day One) at Skytop this Sat & Sun. These schools concentrate on full swing principles and short game so you can become a more complete and consistent player. Beginner to low handicap can benefit from our staffs’ guidance. Cost is $325 for the two day school and includes 6 hours of instruction with video analysis, unlimited range balls, take home written manual, refreshments and golf course privileges after class. We have a maximum student to teacher ratio of 4 to 1 for more individual attention. The head instructor is a PGA class “A” professional with over 15 years of teaching experience. 9:00 a.m. Qi Gong 20 Movement(CHI KUNG) Experience this soothingly beautiful Chinese Moving Meditation. This class gently lubricates joints with fluid arm movements coordinated with your breath. We will be learning 20 movements that simulate beautiful elements in nature. QI GONG will enhance your energy level and sense of well being by gathering chi from our spectacular natural surroundings. This type of movement will provide tranquility for the mind and help you move at a slower pace, while enhancing mental focus & balance. Class is 45 min. Meet at the Activities Desk in hopes of going out outside. (Weather Back-Up location will be the Club Room)

9:45 a.m. First Timers Skytop Tour. If this is your first time here at Skytop Lodge or you just want to get yourself reacquainted with the property. Join us for this brief tour and informational session. Get your questions answered and find out what Skytop has to offer you. Meet at the Fireplace in the Pine Room (Lobby).

10:00 a.m.The Raven Trail. Join Skytop’s Naturalist for this 2-mile nature walk along a scenic, very diverse trail. See beaver wetlands, streams, waterfalls, varied forests, songbirds and many signs of wildlife along the way. (Allow 2 hours – a few rough, rocky sections) Dial Ext. 533 to sign up for a ride to the trailhead and then meet on the North Porch, or follow along in your own vehicle. Weather Back-Up Location will be the Laurel Lounge.

11:15 a.m. Vista Hike to the Picnic. Hikers, meet on the North Porch. Please Note: This hike is physically demanding as we cover a 300 ft. change in elevation. Make sure this hike is for you and you can keep up with the group while hiking up the steep side of the mountain at a fitness pace. At the vista, we enjoy the view overlooking Skytop Lake and the Lodge. Then we hike down the ski slope to the picnic site. You can take the shuttle back to the Lodge or walk 1 mile along the lake trail. Bring your appetite and your camera!

11:45, 12:10, 12:35 p.m. Tractor-Drawn Hayrides to the Picnic on the Lake. Space is limited to 24 people per ride; register at the Activities Desk by dialing ext. 533. Cost is $4 per person (children 3 & under ride free) and departure is from the North Porch. Enjoy the ride! A one-hour cancellation notice is required to avoid charges.

12:00-1:00 p.m. OUTDOOR PICNIC for the adventurous crowd. Don’t miss this hearty outdoor meal at the Robin Hood Cove. Inform your breakfast server if you plan to attend. One mile walk along the Skytop Lake Trail. Van transportation is available from the North Porch and Inn.

1:00-1:30 p.m. Adult Tennis Clinic (minimum of 3 people). $10 per participant, dial ext. 536 before 9:00 a.m. on Saturday to register.

11:00-11:30 a.m. Junior Tennis Clinic (minimum of 3 people) $10 per participant, dial ext. 536 before 9:00 a.m. on Sunday to register.

Gain an essential understanding of the cardinal directions as we learn to read and use a compass in tandem with a map. We will become explorers as we immerse ourselves in the history of magnetic technology, and learn to accurately orient ourselves relative to objects in the landscape. Allow one hour. Meet George at the Activities Desk.

3:30 p.m. Circuit Training. Meet at the Activities Desk to strengthen your muscles in a cardio/circuit training workout. No experience needed, work at your own pace. If you have never lifted weights but always wanted to try, here is your chance to do it with supervision and guidance. Towels and water are provided.

9:30 a.m.  Guided Mountain Bike Ride to Indian Ladder Falls. Sign up in advance at the Activities Desk (x 533) and then meet there 15 minutes before the start of the ride. Once your paperwork is completed, you and the guide will proceed from the Activities Desk to the Pavilion to get bikes and helmets; the ride departs from the pavilion.

  • Cost is $13/person
  • Ride is about 4 miles of level terrain and takes approximately 1 hour
  • We take a maximum of 11 riders
  • MINIMUM AGE is 8 years old and ALL riders must be able to keep up with the group.
  • Anyone under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult (anyone under 18 needs a parent to sign paperwork)
  • We require a one-hour cancellation notice to make this ride available to all our guests

10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Paintball Shooting Gallery. Improve your paintball shooting skills or try it for the first time at our new 4 person shooting gallery. Targets will include a full size mannequin, bullseyes and targets that move when hit. It’s great fun for the whole family, no age restrictions, 50 paintballs for $8.00, 100 paintballs for $15.00. 11:00 a.m. Mini Golf Tournament. Do you enjoy mini golf? Join the fun at our tournament. Shot gun start with a 5 stroke maximum. Fun for all ages. Meet at the Activities Desk.

1:30 p.m. Leavitt Falls Fitness Hike. Experience a beautiful waterfall, hemlocks and fresh air! Please Note: This hike is physically demanding as we cover a 100 ft. change in elevation over rocky terrain. Make sure this hike is for you and you can keep up with the group while hiking down into the gorge at a fitness pace. This is a short, yet rugged walk; allow 1 hour, meet at the Activities Desk.

3:00 p.m. Pictionary. Need a break from all the outdoor fun? Come join us and play a game of Pictionary. Can you draw and not talk? Stick figure artists are encouraged to join in the action. Meet at the Activities Desk.

4:00 p.m. Bubble Blowing Bonanza. For ages 3-103. Come and remember those care free days of your childhood or create new memories with your children. Bubbles of all sizes. Meet at the Activities Desk.

9:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m. Pine Room Entertainment by Windfall, the consummate duo with a unique and engaging presentation that will leave you wanting more!
