Dining at Skytop Lodge

American Plan: The American Plan is part of your all inclusive family lodge package and is the traditional way to dine at Skytop. For each night you stay at the lodge under the American plan you will enjoy 3 delicious meals in one of our beautiful dining rooms. These include the Lakeview Dining room at the Inn, and the Windsor Dining room in the main lodge building. The hours for each is posted just outside the dining rooms.

Lodge Dining Room: The main dining room is located on the western end of the Pine Room. The meal hours are posted at the entrance of the dining room. Gentlemen must wear jackets to the evening meal, and reservations are required. Reservations can be made in person or from the phone your room by dialing EXT: 465. The dinner menu is posted daily outside the dining room by 2:00. A children's menu is also available upon request.

Lakeview Dining Room: The Lakeview dining room is located at the Inn at Skytop. The Inn can be found by following the path along the south lawn. The Lakeview dining room is a more casual environment that is included in your meal plan. It is only open for dinner. This dining room may be closed during seasonal periods. The Lakeview dining room is business casual, no jeans, sneakers, or shorts. Reservations are required and can be made in person or by dialing EXT: 466.

Room service is also available during regular dining hours. A room service menu can be found in the guest directory. Room service meals are covered by the American Plan, however there will be a $5.00 service delivery charge to your room.

Coffee service is available daily, outside of the main dining room from 7-9 AM.

Sunday Brunch: Sunday brunch is offered year round in the main lodge dining room. Our expert chefs choose the finest seasonal items. Our buffet offers a wide variety of items, sure to please everyone's palette. Dress is casual. Please call for reservations at (570)-595-7401 EXT: 465.

The Tea Room: The Tea Room is located on the recreation level of Skytop. The Tea Room is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The tea room is the perfect place if your looking for a quiet, charming, and quaint place for a quick bite. Meals in the Tea Room are not included in the American Plan. Hours of operation are posted outside the tea room. For more information you can dial EXT: 549.

The Tap Room: The Tap Room is located on the lower level of the main lodge building. The Tap Room features a fully stocked bar with a variety of both imported and domestic beers and an award winning wine selection. The Tap Room opens at noon and is open for lunch and dinner, or just some appetizers. Entertainment is regularly scheduled. For more information you can dial EXT: 576.

The Inn-between Deli: The Deli is located on the lower level of the Inn, just behind the golf shop.The deli provides an interesting selection of breads, meats, cheeses, salads, and drinks, all to satisfy your hunger and thirst needs. Meals at the deli are covered by your meal plan. The Deli is located at the golf turn for your convenience.

Box Lunches: You come to Skytop for the adventure, not just the food, but sometimes these two can conflict. No worries, whether you've got a hike scheduled for 12:00 or you just want to relax on the south lawn for lunch, the boxed lunch option has you covered. The box lunch is available upon request from your server or one of our dining room captains.

Picnics: Weather permitting, every Saturday afternoon there's a delicious outdoor picnic. In the winters it is conveniently located at the base of the ski slope and in the summer it is located on the lakeside at Robin Hood Cove. Hayrides are provided to the picnic, please sign up at the activities desk. If you're interested in the picnic just let your server know at breakfast and they will sign you up. The picnic is included in your meal plan.
